Platform Arts invites you to celebrate “making with” through a program of visual arts, performance, music, and food. 'Sympoiesis' speaks to the idea that human and non-human entities are constantly shaping and being shaped by each other rather than self-creating in isolation.

The performance program features music by The Cloud Maker (20 February), and a live dance and foley performance by Bec Jensen and Aviva Endean, ‘Slip’ (21-22 March). Each work explores the influence of sensory input and storytelling on our self-becoming. Offsite, Ocean LAB invites you to explore the hidden wonders of Australia’s Great Southern Reef through a multisensory sound walk that bridges land and sea (12 April).

‘Sympoiesis’ runs from February through to April, with free and ticketed events. Visit the website to learn more.

Platform Arts brings 'Sympoiesis' to the community with support from The City of Greater Geelong, Creative Victoria, and Creative Australia.
