One of the most scenic drives in Australia, the Great Ocean Road stretches from Torquay to Warrnambool. This coastline features some of Australia's best surf breaks including the world famous Bell's Beach. The Great Ocean Road is dotted with charming villages such as Lorne and Apollo Bay. Nature lovers will enjoy the Great Otway National Park, a short drive from Lorne. It is a hot spot for wildlife scenic walking tracks, waterfalls and rain forests.
The biggest attraction is the 12 Apostles, located in the Port Cambell National Park. The limestone arrangments are 45 meters above sea level and can be seen from the cliffs or better viewed from the beach. Head down to Gibson's Steps and check out the view from below or take a helicopter flight early or late in the day for amazing views and light.
